Parmigiano-Reggiano of this seasoning can be accompanied by red wines like Sangiovese di Romagna, Gutturnio, Chianti Classico. It is excellent cut in slivers in a fruit salad (pears, apples, grapefruits, oranges) dressed with Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale of Modena or Reggio Emilia. The cheese can be accompanied by every kind of dried fruit, like walnuts, hazelnuts, figs. It is really great together with prunes.
